About Mrs. Enhelder

I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at Stephensen this year and to have the opportunity to teach your child. I am originally from North Carolina. I attended high school at East Davidson, where our mascot was also the eagles. After graduating with honors, I began my higher education at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. While working toward my degree in Elementary Education, I interned at 4 different schools, working with 2nd and 4th graders. While doing these internships I was assured that teaching is where I needed to be; it's where I felt happiest. During the summers I moved back home and worked at a YMCA summer day camp. I was a camp counselor for children entering Kindergarten through children going into 2nd grade. Sometimes I also worked with the upper elementary kids. Finally, in December 2018, I graduated App State with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a concentration in natural sciences.

Very soon after, I married my husband, Chase. I moved out to Idaho with him the very next day! Chase is an Air Force maintainer who also serves in Honor Guard. We have been enjoying our life in Idaho with our labradoodle puppy named Pan (like Peter Pan).
